Here are some ideas on how to change the look and performance of your ROCSTA....
First ........ask yourself what are you going to do with your Rocsta ???
1) Is it purely for driving on road? If so,you can give it the "off-road " look or go for the bling and PIMP IT!! Chrome bull-bars,mirrors,lots of checker plate ,etc
Chrome Cobra Bull Bar
If you want the rugged look then spacers and bigger wheels-possibly 2" lift-possibly ª lift shackles
2) Would you like to do some green-laning?Again ª lift, spacers and AT tyres*
3) Would you like to do more serious off-roading/trialing?? 2,3,4,5,6, "lift, spacers and M/Ts*
2+" Shackle Lift

Thanks for pics,Tom !
This is the most poular option- with Jeds shackles it will be just over 2"-come with full instructions - anything under about 3" is good because you dont need to change brake lines ,shocks etc-once you go over 3" you do and it starts getting a bit expensive
Also with 2" lift you can do the work yourself -so no labour charges
If you are putting shackles on you might one to consider replacing naff rubber bushes with new
polyurethane ones-last longer and cost about £3 each
Next thing is to buy some 32mm Wheel Spacers- this will push wheels out-enabling you to put wider, bigger tyrs on-very simple to fit-4 ali plates and 20 extended studs-studs go on existing wheel studs then plate then wheel then lock nuts -thats it!

You can then put either 235/75 x15" tyres on or go up to 30"
Body Lift..
This entails lifting body from chassis - putting larger spacers in and longer bolts
Only advantage I can see is you can then fit larger tyres without shackles
TYRES
Left- BFG goodrich MUD Right-RECIP trial-MUD - note side lugs
3main types![]()

1) road-normal driving
2) AT-all terrain-heavier tread than normal road tyres-good for green laning,dirt tracks,country roads
3) MT -mud terrains-much heavier tread than other -sometimes with side lugs as well-good for mud ,snow,etc-usually softer compound. Most expensive ? BFG-cheapest ? -Colway-C-trax
AT and MT normally come with ratios -I.E. AT 60% off road 40% on road MT 80% off -road 20% on road
BE CAREFUL!! Some mud tyres are NOT ROAD LEGAL -CHECK BEFORE BUYING if you want to use them all the time
Also gearbox/differential ratios are important for tyre sizes -go too big and you will keep stalling
Personally I have a set of road tyres and a set of road legal muds -takes 20 mins to change but can use on road if I cant be bothered!
Muds can be a pig on the road! Be careful until you get used to them-especially in the wet !!
There is a trend now in off-road tyres to go the taller, thinner route -depends on where your going
Wheels
Standard wheels are 15"-the only 16" wheels that fit that I know of are from a Suzuki Grand Vitara
Wheel size is 15" 5 stud PCD is 139mm
Other wheels that fit are Suzuki,Diahatsu,Lada?
Rock Sliders
These are bars that attach to chassis either side to protect body work either side from damage-like out riggers on a boat

Fuel Tank and Gearbox Guards -or Bash Plates
These are a good idea for protection on or off road usually made from aluminium-these are 3mm - they stop damage to fuel tank and transfer box-simply mounted to existing holes

BODY LIFT
This is self-explanatory -easy to do and cheap-allows you to put larger tyres on
I have loads of spacers if any body wants them -just cover postage -then you just need to buy longer bolts
